Whether a car door catches your rod tip or a heavy bass fly unexpectedly collides with your blank, we understand how frustrating a broken rod can be. At Yellowfin Custom Fly Rods, we’ll do our best to get you back on the water.
Repair Pricing

Tip and Upper Rod Sections: $75

Handle/Butt Section: $120 when replacement of the cork grip and reel seat is required

Shipping: Not included in repair pricing
Our rod blanks are produced in small batches, and replacement sections may vary slightly between production runs. Because of this, an exact match or successful repair cannot always be guaranteed. All repairs are subject to replacement component availability and evaluation of the damage.
If your rod is damaged, please contact us before shipping it. We’ll discuss the damage, review available repair options, and provide instructions for sending in your rod.
We may need the complete rod to evaluate the damage and determine whether a repair is possible.
Haldin Blanks: Standard repair pricing does not apply to Haldin blanks. Please contact us for repair options and pricing.
Custom Rod Orders
Every Yellowfin custom fly rod is individually assembled and finished to your specifications.
Please allow approximately 3–8 weeks for completion and delivery of custom rod orders.
