Description
9′ 5wt Medium-Fast Action Fly Rod – Gloss Olive
This previously built 9′ 5wt medium-fast action fly rod showcases the craftsmanship and attention to detail that go into every Yellowfin Custom Fly Rods build.
Designed as a versatile all-around trout rod, its 9-foot length and 5-weight configuration make it suitable for fishing dry flies, nymphs, and lighter streamers on rivers and lakes. The medium-fast action provides a balance of smooth casting feel and responsiveness.
The rod features a distinctive gloss olive green blank complemented by chrome reel seat hardware, a warm wood reel seat insert, and quality Snake Brand guides. Transparent epoxy over the thread wraps creates a clean, understated finish that allows the olive blank and carefully selected components to stand out.
Individually assembled, wrapped, and finished by Yellowfin Custom Fly Rods in Colorado, this completed rod is an example of the personalized craftsmanship available through our custom rod-building services.
