7′ 3wt S-Glass Fiberglass Fly Rod – Golden Amber
This custom-built 7′ 3wt S-Glass fiberglass fly rod combines traditional fiberglass character with a distinctive golden-amber finish and carefully selected components.
Designed for smaller streams and mountain creeks, its compact 7-foot length and smooth slow action make it easy to enjoy fishing in tighter environments. The lightweight 3-weight configuration offers a relaxed, traditional fiberglass casting feel that’s particularly well suited for delicate dry-fly presentations and short-distance trout fishing.
The golden-amber fiberglass blank is complemented by a natural cork grip, dark-colored reel seat hardware, and carefully finished guide wraps. Its three-piece construction makes it convenient to pack for trips into the mountains or along your favorite small streams.
This completed rod includes both a protective rod sock and a fiberglass rod tube for storage and transportation.
Individually assembled, wrapped, and finished by Yellowfin Custom Fly Rods in Colorado, this rod reflects the craftsmanship and attention to detail that go into every Yellowfin build.

Killer little creek slayer. Ever since I casted my late grandfathers spin/fly combo fiberglass 5wt I’ve loved glass. I’ve fished a BH 5wt for a number of years and was on the hunt for a 3wt to tackle little mountain streams and brook trout in the northeast, as well as the spring creeks back on my driftless home waters. This thing is everything I imagined. Beautiful blank and wonderful craftsmanship. Jon’s attention to detail is on point. It casts like a dream and plays fish even better. Packs down to a great little backpacker, and I’m excited to give it a workout on some longer trips in the northeast woods and mountains.
