9’6″ 5wt Medium-Fast Action Fly Rod

Looking for a little extra reach in a versatile trout rod? This custom-built 9’6″ 5wt medium-fast action fly rod combines additional length with a smooth, responsive casting feel.

The 9’6″ length provides extra reach compared with a standard 9-foot rod, making it an appealing choice for anglers fishing from a kayak or canoe, managing longer drifts, or fishing larger rivers and lakes. Its medium-fast action offers a balance of casting responsiveness and control for a variety of trout-fishing techniques.

The rod features a distinctive orange blank finish with contrasting blue thread accents. Chrome snake guides, a chrome reel seat with a burled wood insert, and a premium AAA-grade snub-nose half-wells cork grip complete the build.
