This previously built 9′ 5wt medium-fast action fly rod showcases the craftsmanship and personalization available from Yellowfin Custom Fly Rods.

Designed as a versatile all-around trout rod, its medium-fast action offers a balance of smooth casting feel and responsiveness. The 9-foot length and 5-weight configuration make it a practical choice for fishing dry flies, nymphs, and streamers on rivers and lakes.

The rod features a distinctive matte gray finish, chrome reel seat hardware, chrome snake guides, and a wood reel seat insert. Bright turquoise and yellow thread wraps add a unique touch to the understated blank.

Individually assembled, wrapped, and finished by Yellowfin Custom Fly Rods in Colorado, this rod is an example of the custom details that make each build personal.
